Our Mission at TIGA: Taos Institute for
Glass Arts is to expand the understanding and appreciation for
the Contemporary Glass Art Movement through classes & workshops,
lectures, demonstrations, special events and exhibitions. TIGA
serves and integrates the needs of artists, students, collectors,
architects and designers.
TIGA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
All donations are tax-deductible.

honored to be a member of Glass Alliance - New Mexico. Glass
Alliance - New Mexico is a sponsor of the annual Taos Art Glass
Invitational. The two organizations work together in mututal
support to bring educational programs and further the use of
glass as a media in fine art.

also a member of Glass Alliance - New Mexico's parent organization,
AACG: Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass. The Art Alliance for
Contemporary Glass is a not-for-profit organization whose mission
is to further the development and appreciation of art made from
glass. The Alliance informs collectors, critics and curators
by encouraging and supporting museum exhibitions, university
glass departments and specialized teaching programs, regional
collector groups, visits to private collections, and public seminars.
