VOLUNTEER
 
We are seeking dedicated individuals who enjoy team work and serving their community. We have volunteer opportunities available with the following committees:
 
Promotional/Communications - help with promotional materials and media contact/distribution.
 
Operations - assistance in daily operations at the facility.
 
Acquisitions/Maintenance - support in acquiring equipment, tools, and supplies.
 
Education - assist will all facets of facilitating our educational programs.
 
Travel - help teachers and students with their travel plans to Taos.
 
Fundraising Committee - help develop and facilitate fundraising campaigns and events.
 
Volunteers - help to recruit, maintain database, scheduling, and communication with TIGA volunteers. Plus assist with the planning and implementation of our annual volunteer party!

ADVISORY BOARD
 
We are looking for a group of dedicated professionals to direct and guide the Taos Institute for Glass Arts on an innovative and successful journey. We are seeking the right individuals that want to embrace not only service to their community, but that also believe in helping to make Taos an art destination world-wide.
ABOUT THE ADVISORY BOARD...
The TIGA Advisory Board is made of a group of professionals with whom the organization consults in each member's particular area(s) of expertise. These individuals are requested to support the organization and at the same time receive exclusive benefits from the organization.
 
We request from TIGA Advisory Board Members:
    attendance at the Annual Advisory Board meeting.
    one of the following three: 1) provide $3000 annually in consulting/professional services, 2) solicit donations in the amount of $3000 or more annually, or 3) give a minimum donation of $3000 annually.
 
We provide to our Advisory Board Members:
    recognition in publicity and newsletters.
    invitations to all private TIGA events.
    first notification of upcoming classes & demonstrations.
    reserved seating at special functions & demos.

ABOUT THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS...
The TIGA Board of Directors consists of a group of individuals in whom we trust the direction, focus, and perpetuation of TIGA. We are looking for a balanced mix of business, educational, artistic, and political leaders. These individuals are requested to support the organization in the following ways:
 
We request from TIGA Board of Directors:
    attendance at a monthly or bi-monthly board meeting.
    attendance at TIGA's private events and major public events.
