- HAND-PAINTED AND
PRINTED IMAGERY ON GLASS
- w/ Armelle LeRoux

of painting on glass with renowned conservationist Armelle LeRoux.
Having worked for years restoring architectural glass of all
types and periods, LeRoux will lead you through the journey of
classical hand-painting techniques. Then, learn to mix special
glass paints for applying a printed image onto the surface of
the glass through a silk-screening process. Lastly, students
will learn how to fire their works to permanently set the images
into the glass panels they have created. Students will be enabled

- LOST-WAX CLOSED-MOLD
CASTING IN GLASS
- w/ Delinda VanneBrightyn

glass utilizing the ancient technique of lost wax combined with
current technologies of glass and modern-day refractories. You

experience in all aspects, including wax sculpting, making and
drying the mold to ready it for casting, wax melt-out, and proper
preparation of the glass for casting. Discussions in understanding
different types of refractory materials, how the glass fills
